Microplastics in the Environment: Sources, Transformations, and Fate

Prof. Guo has been selected as a Young Changjiang Scholar of the Ministry of Education, a Shaanxi Province Young Science and Technology Star, and a member of the “Young Talent Program” at Northwest A&F University. His research focuses on water pollution control, the environmental geochemical behavior of pollutants, and pollution remediation. In recent years, he has published more than 100 papers as the first or corresponding author in leading journals, including Nature Protocols, Advanced Science, The ISME Journal, Environmental Science & Technology, Water Research, and Chinese Science Bulletin. His work has been cited over 11,000 times, including 16 ESI Highly Cited Papers and 4 Hot Papers. He has presided over four projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, three projects/sub-projects of the National Key R&D Program, and more than ten provincial, ministerial, and other research projects.

Prof. Ge research focuses on the preparation of environmentally friendly materials and their applications in pollution control. He has presided over and participated in multiple projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation of China (General and Youth Programs), the Anhui Provincial Natural Science Foundation (General Program), and key projects of the Provincial Natural Science Research Program of Higher Education Institutions of Anhui Province. He has published more than 30 papers in domestic and international journals such as Environmental Research, Science of the Total Environment, Industrial & Engineering Chemistry Research, Chinese Journal of Catalysis, Chinese Chemical Letters, Catalysis Letters, Australian Journal of Chemistry, Journal of Porous Materials, RSC Advances, Nano, Petrochemical Technology, Chemical Research and Application, and Water Treatment Technology.
