Speaker

Prof. Ying Li
College of Chemical Engineering, Zhejiang University of Technology, Hangzhou, China.
Professor Li Ying received her Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from the Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2005, and subsequently completed a two-year postdoctoral fellowship at Eindhoven University of Technology in the Netherlands. She currently works at the College of Chemical Engineering, Zhejiang University of Technology, and was awarded the Huzhou Nan Taihu Talent Program in 2024. As the founder and Chairman of Huzhou Jiacarbon New Material Technology Co., Ltd., she also serves as the Chief Scientist of the National Key R&D Program of the Ministry of Science and Technology. She has led more than 20 national and provincial-level research projects, publishing over 200 SCI papers and holding more than 140 authorized patents. Her research focuses on green energy catalysis, carbon catalysis, and AI-driven energy catalysis, including carbon-based functional materials, high-value utilization of carbonaceous solid waste, ammonia synthesis and liquid hydrogen storage, and catalytic synthesis of fluorine/chlorine-containing monomers, bridging fundamental research with industrial applications.
