Chair

Prof. Ying Wan

College of Chemistry and Materials Science, Shanghai Normal University, Shanghai, China.
Dr. Ying Wan completed each of her academic degrees in Industrial Catalysis from the East China University of Science and Technology. In 2005 - 2007, she carried out her postdoctoral research at Fudan University. Now she is a professor of Chemistry in Shanghai Normal University. Her research focuses on the design and synthesis of mesoporous carbon supported metal catalysts based on electronic structure descriptor strategies and their applications towards precise catalysis in high-value fine chemicals and energy storage. She has published 3 books as a co-author, and over 90 papers in reputed journals including Nature Catal., Nat. Commun., JACS, Angew. Chem., Natl. Sci. Rev. She leads the Environmental Functional Materials Research Team supported by the Ministry of Education’s Innovation Team Development Program. In 2018 and 2021, she was elected as Secretary of the 10th and 11th International Mesostructured Materials Association. She is currently an Editor of Green Catalysis and an Associate Editor of Chemical Synthesis.

Speaker(s)

Prof. Lin He

Lanzhou Institute of Chemical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Lanzhou, China.
Lin He is a professor and doctoral supervisor at the Lanzhou Institute of Chemical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. She has long focused on the high-value utilization of C1 resources, based on the creation of catalytic systems, and has achieved directional synthesis and transformation of high-value products such as non-isocyanate urea, carbamates, polyol esters, and adiponitrile/2-methylpentanedinitrile through catalytic carbonylation/cyanation using CO, CO2, and CN⁻. Relevant achievements have been published in over 60 papers, including 1 in Science and 9 in Angewandte Chemie International Edition. She holds 8 granted Chinese patents and 2 international patents.

Prof. Zhe An

College of Chemistry, Beijing University of Chemical Technology, Beijing, China.
Professor Zhe An received her BSc (2005) and PhD (2011) degrees from Beijing University of Chemical Technology. She was promoted to full professor in 2021. She has been a visiting scholar at the University of Utah (2015-2016). Her research is focused on the heterogeneous catalysis and the green synthesis of value-added fine chemicals. As the first or corresponding author, the applicant has published more than 30 papers in Nat. Commun., J. Am. Chem. Soc., ACS Catal., J. Catal. etc., including 4 invited review papers in Chem. Commun.、Chin. J. Catal.、Sci. Sin. Chim., 6 Chinese invention granted patents and 3 PCT patents, two monograph as co-author, and has served as youth editorial board of Trans. Tianjin Univ. and Ind. Chem. Mater. etc.
