Prof. Le is the Director of the Academic Committee of School of Medicine of University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, Director of Neurology Department & Institute in Sichuan Academy of Medical Science-Sichuan Provincial Hospital. He also works as Tenured Professor & Head of the top clinical discipline in Dalian Medical University.
He was a Professor of Neurology and Director of the Parkinson's Disease Research Center at Baylor College of Medicine. He also worked as the Director of the Institute of Neurology at Shanghai Jiaotong University School of Medicine and the Executive Chairman of the Biomedical Institute of Shanghai Ruijin Hospital.
Prof. Le interests in the research on pathogenesis, biomarkers and the targeted therapy of neurodegenerative diseases. He has published more than 300 papers in internationally important academic journals, such as Nature Genetics, Science, PNAS, Autophagy, Brain, JAMA, Lancet Neurology, etc. The papers were cited over 20,000 times and he has been chosen into the list of Highly Cited Chinese Researchers in the field of Neuroscience by Elsevier for 8 years. Prof. Le held 3 Key Programs and 5 General Programs of National Natural Science Foundation of China, held/participated in 4 Key Projects of Chinese National Programs for Fundamental Research and Development (973 program) and Chinese National Programs for High Technology Research and Development (863 program).

Topic: Mitophagy: From Novel Molecular Mechanisms to Implications in Health and Disease
Prof. Shen obtained his bachelor's and master's degrees from Zhejiang Medical University in 1985 and 1988, and his Ph.D. from the National University of Singapore (NUS) in 1996. He completed his postdoctoral studying at NUS and the National Cancer Institute (NCI). He also worked as an Assistant Professor, Associate Professor and Professor at the NUS Medical School.
Prof. Shen’s researches mainly focus on the autophagy and tumor cell biology, mitophagy and tumor metabolism, etc. He has published more than 230 academic papers, a total citation of over 36,000 and an H-index of 91 (Google Scholar). He is the Associate Editor of Autophagy, the Executive Editor of J Cell Physiol, the Science Editor of Aging Cell, and the Editorial Board Member of Ageing and Neurodegenerative Diseases and Life Metabolism.

Prof. Wang obtained his bachelor's degree from Shanghai Medical University in 1987 and his Ph.D. degree in Neuroscience from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Tokyo in 2001. He worked as a Professor and Doctoral Supervisor in the Department of Neurobiology, School of Life Sciences, University of Science and Technology of China from 2003 to now. He was chosen into "Hundred Talents Program" of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in the same year and was employed in the Department of Pharmacology of Soochow University in 2011.
Prof. Wang is the Chairman of the Glial Cell Chapter of the Chinese Neuroscience Society and the Vice Chairman of the Protein Modification and Disease Chapter of the Chinese Association of Pathophysiology now. He is also the Editorial Board Member of Neuroscience Bullettin, Ageing and Neurodegenerative Diseases, and the Associate Editor of Frontiers Aging Neuroscience.
Prof. Wang is engaged in researches on molecular pathology of neurodegenerative diseases. As a corresponding author, he has published 86 papers in Nat Commun, EMBO J, Mol Psychiatry, Aging Cell, Cell Death Differ, Cancer Lett, Brain, Science Signaling, JBC, etc.

Prof. Yang was Leading Expert of National "Ten Thousands Talent Program" Leading Talent of Science and Technology Innovation among Young and Middle-aged Distinguished Professor for Shaanxi Provincial Tri-Qin Scholars. And she granted the State Council Special Allowance and won the China Young Female Scientist Award. She was selected the Advanced Individual in Science and Technology Work, the Top-Notch Talent and Air Force specialist in the engineering discipline of the military's high-level scientific and technological innovation talents. She won the first prize of Shaanxi Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award (the first one who completed) and the 10th Shaanxi Youth Science and Technology Award. Meanwhile, Prod. Yang is the Leader of the Shaanxi Provincial Science and Technology Innovation Team, a Standing Committee Member of the Neurobiology Professional Committee of the Military Medical Association and a Standing Committee Member of the Neurodegenerative Disease Chapter of the Chinese Neuroscience Society.
Prof. Yang presided over more than 10 Key Projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, key international (regional) cooperative research projects, general projects, national key research and development plans of the Ministry of Science and Technology (project leader), provincial and military projects, and talent construction projects.
Additionally, Prof. Yang also as the first and/or (co-)corresponding author, she has published 45 SCI papers with a total impact factor of 320 in internationally renowned journals, such as Science, Molecular Cell, Nature Communications, Autophagy, Aging cell, etc.
