Jawahar L. Mehta is a Director, Molecular cardiology and Distinguished Professor of Medicine and Physiology and Biophysics, and Stebbins Chair in Cardiology at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, Little Rock, AR. He is member of prestigious organizations like ASCI and AAP, and received numerous awards-such as the International Pericle d’Oro Prize from University Magna Graecia of Catanzaro, Distinguished Fellow of the International Academy of Cardiology and the Dean’s Distinguished Scholar Award. He serves on the editorial boards of several cardiology, physiology and pharmacology journals. He has published more than 1300 papers, abstracts and book chapters. He is listed in Who’s Who in the World and Leading Physicians of the World.
