The gut microbiome, a complex community of microorganisms residing in the gastrointestinal tract, plays a pivotal role in maintaining human health and well-being. Over recent years, research has highlighted the significant impact of the gut microbiome on various aspects of aging and age-related health conditions. This Special Issue aims to provide a comprehensive platform for researchers and experts to explore the intricate relationship between the gut microbiome and aging, shedding light on its potential implications for age-related health outcomes.
