Special Issue Introduction
Metal-organic materials, such as metal-organic frameworks (MOFs), coordination polymers/networks, metal-oxide clusters (MOCs), hybrid ultramicroporous materials (HUMs), etc., have attracted great interest due to their well-defined crystalline structures and systematically tunable composition. They show various applications in gas/vapor separation, storage, catalysis, sensing, and drug delivery. Despite distinct examples of metal-organic materials with the development of characterization technologies for crystalline materials, systematic crystal engineering studies of their structure-property relationships are essential. This Special Issue focuses on recent progress in this field, especially highlighting their synthesis, characterization, properties, and applications. We welcome authors to submit their Research papers, Reviews, Perspectives, Mini Reviews, etc.
