Special Issue Introduction

The field of energy storage and conversion is rapidly evolving, with Metal-Organic Frameworks (MOFs) emerging as a promising research area. MOFs, with their unique properties such as high surface area, tunable pore size, and versatile functionality, offer exciting opportunities for diverse applications. This Special Issue entitled “Energy Storage and Conversion Based on Metal-Organic Frameworks” in Chemical Synthesis aims to highlight the latest advancements and breakthroughs in this realm, focusing on the synthesis, characterization, and usage of MOFs. We welcome original research articles, reviews, and perspective pieces that provide insights into the design and synthesis of MOFs, their physicochemical properties, and their potential applications in energy storage and conversion systems.
