Special Issue
Topic: Mitigation Strategies for Climate Change Impacts on Crop Production: Integrating GIS and Carbon Footprint Analysis
Guest Editor(s)
Special Issue Introduction
As global temperatures continue to rise and extreme weather events become more frequent, the impact of climate change on crop production is becoming increasingly significant. This Special Issue aims to explore the effects of climate change on crop production, with a specific focus on the roles played by GIS and carbon footprint analysis. By delving into these two aspects, we seek to identify sustainable agricultural practices that can ensure food security while mitigating the adverse effects of climate change.
The topics include, but are not limited to:
1. Climate Change Adaptation Strategies for Agricultural Land Use Planning;
2. Crop Production Simulation under Climate Change Impact based on GIS;
3. Carbon Footprint Assessment and Emission Reduction Strategies for Agricultural Production;
4. Role of Ecosystem Services in Climate Change Adaptation;
5. Promotion Strategies for Sustainable Agriculture based on Ecological Footprint;
6. Impacts of Climate Change on Agricultural Ecosystem Diversity;
7. Social Impact Analysis of Climate Change on Agricultural Communities based on GIS;
8. Vulnerability Assessment of Agricultural Production Systems under Climate Change;
9. The Role of Sustainable Agricultural Policies and Practices in Climate Change Adaptation and Mitigation Strategies.
