Topic: Pioneering Approaches to Overcome Drug Resistance in Prostate Cancer

Prostate cancer (PCa) is the most common malignancy and the second leading cause of cancer-related mortality among men in Western countries. Due to advances in understanding PCa, some therapeutic methods have been developed, and the treatment of PCa continues to improve. However, the responses of most PCa patients to these therapeutic methods are transient, especially in advanced disease, and almost all eventually develop therapy resistance. Thus, understanding the mechanisms underlying drug resistance in PCa is of paramount importance for innovating novel therapeutic approaches for this disease. There is an urgent call for pioneering approaches to overcome drug resistance in prostate cancer.

1. New insights into the underlying mechanisms of drug resistance in prostate cancer;
