Stomatological Disease and Science (Stomatological Dis Sci, SDS) is a peer-reviewed and open access journal published online. The full text of each article is available online at www.sdsjournal.com. The journal publishes current studies on basic science- and clinically-related subjects in the broader field of Stomatology, mainly focusing on Oral Medicine and Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology, but also extending into allied disciplines, such as Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology, Oral Oncology, Orofacial Pain and Tempromandibular Disorders, Gerodontology, Special Care and Hospital Dentistry, and Forensic Odontology. Experimental research can be considered only if directly relevant to the aforementioned disciplines. The journal publishes all forms of articles including Review, Original Article, Case Report, Research Highlight, Meta-Analysis, Editorial, Letter to Editor, etc. Moreover, relevant images and videos (directly related to stomatological research) are also welcome. The journal does not charge for submission, processing or publication of manuscripts and even for color reproduction of photographs.
Stomatological Disease and Science (Stomatological Dis Sci, SDS) is a platform for the publication of basic science- and clinically-related subjects in the broader field of stomatology (as defined above). The journal aims to provide an open platform for specialists in Oral Medicine, Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology and allied disciplines, as well as for basic science and clinical researchers, dentists, academic teachers and undergraduate and post-graduate students in all aspects of Oral Medicine, Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology and allied disciplines. The major goal is to facilitate the exchange of knowledge, information and experience, thus promoting the development of clinical and basic science-related research of the oral and maxillofacial region.
The journal also covers basic science research specifically applied to oral and maxillofacial region, including oral biology, biochemistry, microbiology, immunology, cancer research, salivary gland research, stem cell research, tissue regeneration, pharmacology, toxicology, etc.
The journal publishes various types of articles including Review, Original Article, Short Communication, Case Report, Technical Report, Research Highlight, Meta-Analysis, Editorial, Letter to Editor, etc. Moreover, relevant images and videos (directly related to stomatological research) are also welcome to be published in Stomatological Dis Sci.
