COPE, a registered charity established in 1997 in the United Kingdom, has over 12,500 members worldwide from various academic fields. COPE provides advice for Editors and publishers on all aspects of publication ethics and, in particular, how to handle cases of research and publication misconduct.

Water Emerging Contaminants & Nanoplastics consistently adheres to the COPE Core Practices and the COPE Guidelines to ensure a rigorous peer-review process under strict ethical policies.
