Two Editorial Board Members of One Health & Implementation Research Recognized as "Highly Cited Researchers 2023" by Clarivate

Editorial Office of One Health & Implementation Research is thrilled to announce the prestigious recognition bestowed upon two outstanding Editorial Board members, Prof. Patrice Nordmann and Prof. Alfonso J. Rodriguez-Morales, as "Highly Cited Researchers 2023" by Clarivate.

The annual “Highly Cited Researchers” list released by Clarivate is based on Web of Science™ citation data and undergoes meticulous analysis by bibliometrics experts and data scientists at the Clarivate Institute for Scientific Information (ISI™). This year, a total of 7,125 researchers from 67 countries and regions have received this esteemed honor in acknowledgment of their distinguished research and the significant impact of their publications, reflected in their high citation counts.

Heartfelt congratulations to Prof. Patrice Nordmann and Prof. Alfonso J. Rodriguez-Morales on this well-deserved achievement, marking their commitment to excellence in global scientific exploration. Patrice Nordmann

The Head of the Molecular Microbiology Unit, Department Medicine, University of Fribourg (Switzerland); of the Associated French National Reference Center for Antibiotic Resistance; and of the INSERM research unit "Emerging Antibiotic Resistance" at the University Paris XI in France. Over the years, he has received numerous awards recognizing his contributions to the field. Among these are the Medaille Louis Pasteur from the French National Academy of Sciences (Paris 2012) and the Excellence Microbiology and Infectious Diseases award from the European Society for Microbiology and Infectious Diseases (Berlin 2013). His achievements also include several patents in Microbiology, particularly in rapid diagnostic methods, some of which have resulted in the development of new products. His research is currently focused on emerging resistance traits in Gram-negative bacteria, spanning from fundamental genetics to applied clinical microbiology.

Alfonso J. Rodriguez-Morales

The President of the Publications and Research Committee of the Pan-American Infectious Diseases Association (API), and Past-President of the Colombian Association of Infectious Diseases (ACIN) (2021-2023). He is a member of the Committee on Tropical Medicine, Zoonoses, and Travel Medicine of ACIN. Currently, he is the President of the Latin American Society for Travel Medicine (SLAMVI) (2023-2025) and Member of the Council of the International Society for Infectious Diseases (ISID) (2020-2026). In 2021, he was awarded the “Raul Isturiz Award” Medal of the API and, the same year, the “Jose Felix Patiño” Asclepius Staff Medal of the Colombian Medical College for his outstanding scientific contributions to the study of COVID-19 during the pandemic.
