Soft Science at ISFSE 2025: Meet Our Honorary Editor-in-Chief — Prof. John A. Rogers

To promote academic exchange and collaboration in flexible electronics, the 9th International Symposium on Flexible & Stretchable Electronics (ISFSE 2025) was successfully held in Shenzhen, China, from September 5 to 7, 2025. The Soft Science team was honored to participate, carrying out on-site outreach activities, fostering communication with leading experts and early-career scholars, and contributing to the global advancement of flexible electronics.

A highlight of the symposium was the opening keynote by Prof. John A. Rogers, Honorary Editor-in-Chief of Soft Science. Prof. Rogers’ pioneering research has profoundly shaped the field of flexible and stretchable electronics. Following his inspiring lecture, the editorial team had the opportunity to exchange ideas with him. Prof. Rogers expressed his recognition of the journal’s progress and shared his vision for its continued role in advancing the discipline.
