What is ORCID?
ORCID (Open Research and Contributor ID, https://orcid.org/) is a not-for-profit organization. Its vision is to create a world where all who participate in research, scholarship, and innovation are uniquely identified and connected to their contributions across the boundaries of disciplines, borders, and time. ORCID is part of the wider digital infrastructure needed by researchers to share information on a global scale. It enables transparent and trustworthy connections between researchers, their contributions, and affiliations by providing an identifier for individual scholars as they engage in research, scholarship, and innovation activities.

What is the relationship between OAE and ORCID?
On June 30, 2018, OAE became a member of ORCID. Now OAE's self-developing manuscript processing system, MESAs integrated with ORCID, and won all five accreditation badges, as displayed below:

MESAs can collect your ORCID iD so we can quickly identify your identity information. When you click the "Authorize" button, we will invite you to share your iD using an authenticated process by registering for an ORCID iD. If you already have one, just sign into your ORCID account, and then grant us permission to access your ORCID iD. We do this to ensure that you are exactly identified and securely connected with your ORCID iD. Learn more about what's so special about signing in.

How to register an ORCID account?
It's easy and convenient to register a free personal account. First, click at https://orcid.org/register, and put in your name and email address, and a ready private password. Then check your email box, and find the imminent hyperlink email to check the validity of your personal information.
