Warmly Celebrate the Successful Holding of the 2024-Chemical Synthesis Frontier Cross Academic Forum on Green Carbon Science!
From August 9 to 12, 2024, the 2024-Chemical Synthesis Frontier Cross Academic Forum on Green Carbon Science took place at Wanda Mandarin Hotel in Shenyang, Liaoning, China. The conference was organized by Chemical Synthesis (CS) and hosted by Shenyang University of Chemical Technology and OAE Publishing Inc. This event was chaired by Academician Baolian Su, Editor-in-Chief of CS. Esteemed figures Professor Guangwen Xu, President of Shenyang University of Chemical Technology, Academician Mingyuan He of East China Normal University, and Professor Alain Krief, Honorary Editor of CS, and Professor Clement Sanchez are honorary chairs.
This academic conference, led by prominent academicians, brought together over 300 experts who engaged in a warm and wonderful atmosphere. This event featured one main venue and seven sub-venues, covering diverse topics such as green synthesis, green energy chemistry, green catalysis, resource recycling chemistry, engineering thermochemistry, resource chemicals and materials, and a forum for young scientists. Over two days, the forum delved into cutting-edge topics within the chemical industry, sparking in-depth discussions and extensive knowledge sharing among participants.
Opening Ceremony: The conference officially commenced at 8:30 a.m. on August 10. Opening remarks were delivered by Prof. Guangwen Xu, Academician Baolian Su, Mr. Min Fan, CEO of OAE Publishing Inc., and Mr. Qingsheng Huo, Deputy Minister of Organization Department of Liaoning Provincial Party Committee. Following the speeches, Academician Baolian Su presented awards to the distinguished editorial board members of CS in attendance.

Plenary Lecture: Following the successful opening ceremony, the conference featured inspiring plenary lectures. Academician Zhengyi Fu of Wuhan University of Technology, President Mingfeng Li of Research Institute of Petrochemical Science, Academician Guohua Hu, Distinguished Professor of the University of Lorraine , and President Guangwen Xu of Shenyang University of Chemical Technology each delivered insightful presentations to the attendees.

Closing Ceremony: On the afternoon of August 11, the conference concluded with several insightful presentations. Academician Buxing Han, Distinguished Professor of East China Normal University; Academician Yang Li, an expert in oil and gas field development and geological development engineering; Academician Zaiku Xie, Chief Engineer of Sinopec Group; and Professor-Level Engineer and Mr. Xiangchen Fang each provided engaging reports. The event was brought to a successful close under the chairmanship of Academician Baolian Su, marking the end of a highly successful conference.
