2022 Annual Report of Minerals and Mineral Materials
Minerals and Mineral Materials (MMM, Online ISSN 2832-269X) was officially released online in October 2021 and published its inaugural issue in September 2022. MMM aims to provide an international forum and an authoritative source of information related to mineral processing and mineral materials in scientific and engineering aspects. Studies in terms of fundamental theories, new technologies and new mineral materials are preferred. The coverage includes all scales of research works linked to mineral processing and mineral materials that attract readership in the scientific and industrial communities.
Under the leadership of Prof. Shaoxian Song, the Editor-in-Chief, the active cooperation of all Editorial Board members, and the assistance of in-house Editors, MMM has achieved fruitful results. At the end of 2022, the Editorial Office summarized and reviewed the important footprints and details of MMM:

On March 2, 2022, a Special Interview with Prof. Feng Rao was successfully concluded.
On September 30, 2022, Volume 1, Issue 1 was officially online.
On November 12, 2022, the Academic Report "Academic Reports Series (Ⅰ): CO2 mineralization with simultaneous metal recovery" led by Prof. Fei Wang was successfully online.
On November 12, 2022, the Academic Report "Academic Reports Series (Ⅱ): Emerging R&D Opportunities in Extractive Metallurgy in the United States" led by Wencai Zhang was officially online.
On November 17, 2022, the time of the first webinar chaired by Editor-in-Chief Prof. Shaoxian Song was set.
On November 29, 2022, MMM became a member of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
On December 6, 2022, Prof. Herman Potgieter created the first Special Issue of "Contribution of Mineral Processing and Metallurgical Technology to Sustainable Development of World Mining Industry".
On December 13, 2022, Prof. Hyunjung "Nick" Kim organized the second Special Issue of "The Latest Green and Sustainable Development of Mineral Processing and Extraction".
On December 31, 2022, Volume 1, Issue 2 was officially online.
Editorial Board:
We invited 17 new Editorial Board members to join us in 2022, including 1 Associate Editor. The total 35 Editorial Board members are from 18 countries/regions, including China(23%), Mexico(11%), South Africa(8%), Australia(6%), South Korea(5%), and 14 other countries/regions.
Readership:
Our journal has a relatively wide international readership. According to incomplete statistics, the readers come from the United States (60.36%), Canada (11.13%), Germany (7.98%), the United Kingdom (7.85%), China (3.11%), and other countries and regions.
