Bio
Prof. Dr. Yi Tang received his B.S. in 1985 and Ph.D. in 1990 at Fudan University under the supervision of Prof. Zi Gao. Then he became the Lecture (1990), Associate Professor (1993) and Full Professor (1997) in Department of Chemistry at Fudan University, and chaired Department of Chemistry at Fudan University from 2006 to 2015.

He has done research in the fields of zeolite, mesoporous material, superacid, layered phosphate, metal non-oxide and so on for the applications in catalysis, biomaterials and others. His main research interests in the recent years are the synthesis and application of zeolitic materials and nanomaterials for catalytic and electrocatalytic conversion of petroleum, biomass and other macromolecular carbon recourses, etc.
Research Interests
molecular sieves, heterogeneous catalysis, synthesis of functional nanomaterials, biomaterials.
