Prof. Jiang Liu is a Professor of Chemistry at South China Normal University.
He received his BS and MS degrees from School of Chemistry & Material Science, Shanxi Normal University under Prof. Xian-Ming Zhang. He then obtained his PhD from Sun Yat-sen University under Prof. Ming-Liang Tong in 2016. From 2016 to 2021, he joined Prof. Ya-Qian Lan's group and became an associate professor at College of Chemistry and Materials Science of Nanjing Normal University. During this time, he received Training Program of the Major Research Plan project funded by National Natural Science Foundation of China, and Excellent Youth Foundation of Jiangsu Natural Science Foundation. In 2022, he joined the School of Chemistry as a professor at South China Normal University.
He has published more than 60 SCI papers in J. Am. Chem. Soc., Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., Chem., Natl. Sci. Rev., etc. with more than 3000 citations. Prof. Liu’s current research fields focus on the development of molecular-based metal cluster and metal-organic crystalline materials applied in energy storage and conversion, proton conductivity and photo/electrocatalytic catalysis.
