Prof. Huiqiao Li is a Huazhong Distinguished Professor, Huazhong University of Science and Technology.

Huiqiao Li received her BS degree in chemistry from Zhengzhou University in 2003, and then received her PhD degree in physical chemistry from Fudan University in 2008. Afterwards, she worked for 4 years at Energy Technology Research Institute, National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST), Japan. Currently, she is a PI in State Key Laboratory of Materials Processing and Die and Mould Technology, and a Huazhong Distinguished Professor in the School of Materials Science and Engineering, Huazhong University of Science and Technology. She has led 6 national and provincial R&D projects. Her research interests include energy storage materials and electrochemical power sources such as lithium-ion batteries, sodium-ion batteries, solid batteries and supercapacitors. She has authored and co-authored over 200 papers in Prog. Mater. Sci., Energy Environ. Sci, Adv. Mater., Adv. Energy Mater., Adv. Funct. Mater., J. Am. Chem. Soc, Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., Nano Lett., ACS. Nano, InfoMat, Energy Storage Mater. etc. with more than 12000 citations and an H-index of 52, 1 book chapter, and 16 patents.
Research Interests
energy storage materials and devices for lithium/sodium ion batteries, solid state batteries, aqueous Zn-based batteries, flexible supercapacitors, synthesis and development of wooden biomaterials for energy and environment application.
