Bio
Dr. Liang Wang received his B.S. in chemistry (2008) from Jilin University. He obtained his Ph.D. degree from the State Key Laboratory of Inorganic Synthesis and Preparative Chemistry, Jilin University in 2013 under the supervision of Prof. Feng-Shou Xiao. He then joined the Institute of Catalysis of Zhejiang University for postdoctoral work. Currently, he is a research professor in the College of Chemical and Biological Engineering at Zhejiang University. His research is focused on the nanoporous catalysts and transformation of low-carbon molecules. He won the Young Scientist Award of International congress on catalysis in 2016, and the Rising Star Award on catalysis of China in 2017. He has been supported by the excellent youth project of National Natural Science Foundation of China (2018) and the outstanding youth project of Zhejiang Natural Science Foundation (2017).

He has published more than 80 SCI papers in Science, Nature Catal., J. Am. Chem. Soc., Angew. Chem., ACS Catal. etc. with an H index of 40.

His current research fields include the zeolite catalysts, supported catalysts, syngas/CO2 conversion, methane conversion, ethane/propane dehydrogenation, green hydrogenation processes.
