Bio
Yuefeng Liu is an associate Professor of Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS).
He received his PhD degree in 2013 from the University of Strasbourg under the supervision of Dr. C. Pham-Huu and then performed his 2-year postdoctoral research at the Institute of Chemical and Processes for Energy, Environment and Health (ICPEES, UMR 7515 CNRS-University of Strasbourg). After a short stay at the Institute of Metal Research, CAS, he is now an associate professor at the Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, CAS. He is the member of the Youth Innovation Promotion Association, CAS in 2018, and has received Liaoning Revitalization Talents Program Award, Liaoning in 2019.
He has published more than 90 SCI papers in Chem. Rev., Nat. Commun., Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., J. Am. Chem. Soc., Adv. Mater., ACS Catal., etc. with more than 2800 citations and an H index of 32 (google scholar).
Prof. Liu’s current research interests deal with the heterogeneous catalysis, environmental TEM, and the synthesis and characterization of hybrid carbon nanomaterials (i.e. carbon nanotubes, graphene, and nanodiamond) and carbide-based catalysts for the application in clean energy and sustainable chemistry.
