Prof. Li-Hua Chen obtained his BS degree in Jilin University in 2004, and earned his PhD degree in Jilin University and University of Namur in 2009 and 2011, respectively. He carried out his postdoctoral research during 2011 and assumed the office of Project Researcher within 2012 in University of Namur. Then, he joined Wuhan University of Technology as a full professor from 2013 to now. He is currently working as Chutian Professor at Wuhan University of Technology.
In the following few years, he insisted on studying hierarchically porous materials and related fields, he won the first “China Zeolite Rookie Award” in 2017, the Hubei Outstanding Youth Fund in 2018, the first prize of Hubei Natural Science Award in 2019.
Prof. Chen’s current research focuses on the design and synthesis of porous functional materials and their applications in energy and environmental catalysis. He has published more than 80 SCI papers in Chem. Rev., Chem. Soc. Rev., Matter, Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., Adv. Mater., Natl. Sci. Rev., etc.
