Collection Scope

The Special Collection “Advanced Intelligent Control and Optimization Strategies for Cyber-Physical Systems” aims to highlight pioneering research that bridges intelligent control, optimization techniques, and cyber-physical system (CPS) design. This collection welcomes manuscripts that present novel methodologies, theoretical advancements, and practical applications in areas such as adaptive and robust control, model predictive control, multi-agent coordination, optimization under uncertainty, and real-time monitoring in CPS. Contributions exploring the integration of artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data-driven approaches with control and optimization frameworks are particularly encouraged. Studies addressing complex, large-scale, and interdisciplinary CPS challenges, including smart manufacturing, autonomous systems, robotics, energy networks, and transportation systems, will be highly valued. Submissions demonstrating scalable, efficient, and resilient control and optimization strategies for real-world CPS applications are especially welcomed.
