ENERGIX explores future energy research shaped by advances in quantum science and technology.

From the early control of fire to the precise manipulation of quantum states, the development of human civilization has been closely tied to progress in energy and materials. Today, the boundaries between sustainable energy research, advanced electronics, and quantum science are increasingly blurred. ENERGIX is launched in response to this convergence as a cross-disciplinary journal encompassing materials science, energy research, and quantum technologies.

The guiding philosophy of ENERGIX is that advances in energy and quantum technologies are most effective when pursued through integrated approaches grounded in shared physical principles. Major challenges such as clean energy generation, efficient power transmission, and quantum information technologies are deeply interconnected. Progress toward fusion energy, for example, is closely linked to the development of high-performance superconducting materials, while the physics of lossless electrical transport in condensed matter systems underpins emerging quantum devices. ENERGIX aims to reflect and support research in which fundamental understanding and technological implementation advance together.

Superconductivity and condensed matter physics constitute core areas of the journal. These fields now extend well beyond the exploration of exotic quantum phenomena and serve as enabling foundations for fusion magnets, medical imaging systems, and quantum computing hardware. ENERGIX covers research ranging from fundamental superconducting mechanisms to materials development and device-level implementation, emphasizing studies that connect quantum properties with practical performance. In parallel, the journal addresses materials for energy storage and conversion, as well as nanoengineered electronic devices, with particular attention to structure-property-performance relationships.

ENERGIX also emphasizes advanced characterization under realistic operating conditions, including in-situ and operando techniques, as well as research on device- and system-level integration. Studies addressing scalability, reliability, and application-driven performance are particularly encouraged. As materials systems grow more complex, ENERGIX welcomes data-driven and AI-assisted approaches that combine first-principles calculations with machine learning to enable predictive and accelerated materials discovery. Serving as a forum for physicists, materials scientists, chemists, and energy researchers, ENERGIX publishes original research articles, authoritative reviews, and perspective papers that advance future energy and quantum technologies. The journal will be guided and shaped through the coordinated efforts of the OAE Editorial Team, Associate Editors, and Board Members, fostering a collaborative environment that supports its growth.

Welcome to ENERGIX.

Tips on Downloading Citation

This feature enables you to download the bibliographic information (also called citation data, header data, or metadata) for the articles on our site.

Citation Manager File Format

Use the radio buttons to choose how to format the bibliographic data you're harvesting. Several citation manager formats are available, including EndNote and BibTex.

Type of Import

If you have citation management software installed on your computer your Web browser should be able to import metadata directly into your reference database.

Direct Import: When the Direct Import option is selected (the default state), a dialogue box will give you the option to Save or Open the downloaded citation data. Choosing Open will either launch your citation manager or give you a choice of applications with which to use the metadata. The Save option saves the file locally for later use.

Indirect Import: When the Indirect Import option is selected, the metadata is displayed and may be copied and pasted as needed.
