Artificial intelligence is entering a new era. Beyond algorithms and static models, AI is rapidly evolving into intelligent agents - systems that can perceive, reason, learn, and act autonomously. These agents are beginning to accelerate scientific discovery, drive industrial transformation, and reshape human-machine collaboration across every sector, from healthcare and energy to finance, manufacturing, and beyond.

Yet the field remains at a critical inflection point. Despite the unprecedented growth of large language models, multimodal systems, and autonomous AI frameworks, research is still fragmented. Foundational advances, domain-specific applications, and enabling infrastructures - such as databases, software platforms, and trustworthy deployment strategies - are often developed in isolation, slowing progress toward scalable, real-world impact.

AI Agent was founded to address this challenge. As an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal, our mission is to unite the global AI research and innovation ecosystem. We provide a single platform for publishing advances that span the full spectrum of intelligent agent research, including:

(1) Foundational AI models and agent architectures.

(2) Scientific and industrial applications across diverse domains.

(3) AI-related databases, software systems, and scalable infrastructures.

(4) Frameworks for safe, trustworthy, and human-centered AI deployment.

Our editorial vision is rooted in three core principles:

(1) Scientific rigor - Every article must meet the highest standards of technical depth and clarity.

(2) Interdisciplinary reach - We welcome contributions that bridge AI theory with applications in science, engineering, and industry.

(3) Global impact - Through support for open access, open data, and open tools, AI Agent seeks to accelerate both academic progress and real-world adoption.

We invite researchers, engineers, and innovators - from universities, national laboratories, startups, and enterprises - to share their most impactful work. Together, through the pages of AI Agent, we aim not only to chronicle the rapid evolution of intelligent systems, but also to actively define the next era of AI.

Tips on Downloading Citation

This feature enables you to download the bibliographic information (also called citation data, header data, or metadata) for the articles on our site.

Citation Manager File Format

Use the radio buttons to choose how to format the bibliographic data you're harvesting. Several citation manager formats are available, including EndNote and BibTex.

Type of Import

If you have citation management software installed on your computer your Web browser should be able to import metadata directly into your reference database.

Direct Import: When the Direct Import option is selected (the default state), a dialogue box will give you the option to Save or Open the downloaded citation data. Choosing Open will either launch your citation manager or give you a choice of applications with which to use the metadata. The Save option saves the file locally for later use.

Indirect Import: When the Indirect Import option is selected, the metadata is displayed and may be copied and pasted as needed.
