Great News: A New Journal Complex Engineering Systems Led by Professor Hamid Reza Karimi Officially Released Online
On April 30, 2021, the new journal Complex Engineering Systems (CES) was officially released online. CES is an international peer-reviewed, open access online journal launched by OAE Publishing Inc., aiming to provide a high-level platform for researchers and practitioners to disseminate their theoretical or engineering-oriented research achievements in the context of complex engineering systems that foster knowledge sharing in different branches of engineering discipline.
We are honored to have successfully invited Professor Hamid Reza Karimi from Politecnico di Milano, Italy, to serve as the Editor-in-Chief and founder of the new journal of CES. Professor Karimi is a "Highly Cited Researcher" (2016-2020, Web of Science) in Engineering, with an H-index of 78. His current research interests include control systems and mechatronics with applications to automotive control systems, vibration systems and wind energy.
He is a member of Agder Academy of Science and Letters and also a member of the IEEE Technical Committee on Systems with Uncertainty, the Committee on Industrial Cyber-Physical Systems, the IFAC Technical Committee on Mechatronic Systems, the Committee on Robust Control, and the Committee on Automotive Control. He has received August-Wilhelm-Scheer Visiting Professorship Award, JSPS (Japan Society for the Promotion of Science) Research Award, Alexander-von-Humboldt-Stiftung research Award, etc. He has also participated as keynote/plenary speaker, distinguished speaker or program chair for several international conferences in the areas of Control Systems, Robotics and Mechatronics.
The Editorial Office of CES highly appreciate Professor Karimi's support and we will work jointly to create a high-level journal with international influence. We believe that with the joint efforts of Professor Karimi and all Associate Editors as well as the Editorial Office, this goal will be achieved in the near future.
