Soft Science Was Included in The List of Journals Following ICMJE Recommended Standards

On June 29, 2023, Soft Science (SS) was officially included in the list of journals that adhere to the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE) Recommendations for the Conduct, Reporting, Editing, and Publication of Scholarly Work in Medical Journals (https://icmje.acponline.org/journals-following-the-icmje-recommendations/). This list serves as a catalyst for enhancing the quality of medical science and its reporting by indicating the standards many editors strive to uphold.

The ICMJE developed these recommendations to establish best practices and ethical standards for the conduct and reporting of research in medical journals. By adhering to these guidelines, authors, editors, and others involved in peer review and biomedical publishing can create and distribute accurate, clear, reproducible, and unbiased medical journal articles.
