The 4th Editorial Board Meeting of Artificial Intelligence Surgery Successfully Held

On January 31, 2024, the 4th Editorial Board meeting of Artificial Intelligence Surgery (AIS) took place online, making another successful gathering. Thirty Editorial Board members, renowned for their strong academic backgrounds, actively participated in the session.

Commencing the meeting, Prof. Andrew A. Gumbs, the Editor-in-Chief of AIS, summarized the journal's achievements in 2023. He expressed his heartfelt gratitude to all Editorial Board members for their contributions. Subsequently, Prof. Andrew A. Gumbs elaborated on the journal’s development plans and current challenges. Several board members also proactively put forwarded some professional and insightful suggestions to the Publisher. Our Editorial Office extends sincere gratitude for the invaluable contributions and suggestions from all participants.

Towards the meeting’s conclusion, Prof. Xin Wang, an esteemed Editorial Board member from West China Hospital, Sichuan University, China, presented his proposal for the development of AIS and outlined his significant upcoming collaboration plans with fellow Editorial Board members.
