Bio
Cui Daxiang received his bachelor's degree from the Second Military Medical University in 1990 and his doctor's degree from the Fourth Military Medical University in 1998. After graduation, he worked in the Army Gene Diagnostic Technology Application Research Institute. From January 2001 to September 2004, he worked as a postdoctoral fellow at Max Planck Institute in Germany. In 2005, he transferred from the Fourth Military Medical University to Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and now he is a professor at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. In 2012, he was awarded the National Outstanding Youth Fund, in 2013, he was selected as a national talent, was awarded the title of "Young and Middle-aged Experts with Outstanding Contributions", and enjoyed the special allowance of The State Council. In 2015, he was selected as a Jiang Scholar of the Minister of Education. He is a visiting professor of Waseda University in Japan, an honorary professor of the University of Sydney, and a foreign member of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences. Project leader of the key R&D Plan of the Ministry of Science and Technology, director of Shanghai Intelligent Diagnosis and Treatment Instrument Engineering Technology Research Center, deputy director of the National Nanoengineering Center. Former chairman of Nano-Oncology Branch of China Anti-Cancer Association, President of Medico-Industrial Integration Branch of China Medical and Health Culture Association, director of Chinese Society of Instrumentation, editor-in-chief of Nano Biomedicine and Engineering.
