A Warm Welcome to Prof. Jizhou Wang as Junior Chief Editor of Mini-invasive Surgery

The Editorial Office of Mini-invasive Surgery (MIS) is honored to announce that Prof. Jizhou Wang, Director of the Department of General Surgery at The First Affiliated Hospital of the University of Science and Technology of China, has officially joined MIS as Junior Chief Editor, effective October 1, 2025.

Prof. Wang has long been committed to the research and clinical practice of minimally invasive surgery, organ transplantation, and liver regeneration. He has made remarkable achievements in promoting technological innovation and academic exchange in these fields, and has played an active role in bridging basic research and clinical translation.

Prof. Wang's appointment brings new vitality to the MIS Junior Editorial Board. With his rich academic experience and extensive professional influence, he will help the journal attract more outstanding young scholars, deepen interdisciplinary cooperation, and continuously improve its academic quality and international influence. Profile of Prof. Jizhou Wang

Research Focus and Clinical Expertise:

Prof. Wang specializes in minimally invasive surgery for hepatobiliary and pancreatic malignant tumors, organ transplantation, and liver regeneration. He is proficient in 4K fluorescence laparoscopic techniques and their application in complex surgical scenarios. His research focuses on the regulatory mechanisms of liver fibrosis and regeneration, as well as the optimization of organ transplantation techniques and perioperative management. Prof. Wang has extensive experience handling complex cases, such as colorectal liver metastasis and end-stage liver disease.
