Special Issue
Topic: Intelligent Data Process and Transmission for Wireless Communications
Guest Editor(s)
Special Issue Introduction
Intelligent techniques, e.g., deep learning (DL) and deep reinforcement learning (DRL), originally from computer science, are now making their presence in wireless communications. Initially used in upper layers of wireless communications, such as routing optimization and cognitive radio deployment, these techniques are gradually extending their reach into the physical layer.
This Special Issue centers on integrating intelligent techniques into wireless communications, aiming to infuse greater intelligence into future communication systems. We welcome the submission of original and high-quality technical or survey articles that delve into DL/DRL techniques and their applications in wireless communications and signal processing. Submissions should be previously unpublished. The topics covered in this Special Issue include, but are not limited to:
● mm-Wave, sub-THz, and THz radio technologies;
● Applications of wireless communications in Industry 4.0 scenarios;
● Low-latency and high-reliability wireless communications;
● Intelligent modulation techniques;
● Machine learning for coding and decoding;
● DRL techniques for multi-access and NOMA channels;
● Green communication and computing for Beyond 5G (B5G) networks;
● Energy-aware distributed wireless devices;
● Machine learning for MIMO systems;
● Intelligent unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) communications and processing.
